Zaafran (saffron) is the dried stigma of the saffron crocus flower, picked by hand. Real saffron threads release a deep golden-red colour slowly when soaked, and have a rich, honey-like aroma.
Anmol Natural zaafran is pure, premium-grade saffron threads with no added colour or fillers. A few threads are enough for a whole dish.
